We did some objective spray and scratch tests on some offcuts of the various combinations of what we use know and your samples. The jury is out on the etch primer, but we think that the Wattyl still just has the edge. Your version seemed to bond and harden at a slower rate but to a final bond fairly close to the Wattyl, but the Wattyl was almost instant. Having said that we havent had anything come that close in the scratch test. For example, the Taubman's SLS was pretty much useless. Your satin black finish on top of the Wattyl primer was the best performing option, as it goes on way better than the White knight quick dry touch up. That is the one we have used for years, but we are having trouble sourcing it and your satin finish is a bit less dull, so suits our requirements more. That can gun is better as well. Ours sort of push clip on whereas that one of yours is both easier more positive to attach and has less plastic in the way of the spray pattern.
